Remote Job Opportunity as a Manual QA Engineer at Awesome Motive

Awesome Motive is offering a remote job opportunity as a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer to join the team for 2021. 

1. Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
2. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured testing documentation from the beginning.
3. Estimate, prioritize, plan and perform testing activities.
4. Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
5. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
6. Liaise with internal teams to identify system requirements, improve development procedures.
7. Participate in feature discussions and provide feedback before the task is prepared for the developer to ensure there are no unanswered or unnoticed questions/concerns.

1. Proven work experience in web-software quality assurance, 3+ years.
2. Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Good knowledge of software development methodology and software lifecycle processes.
4. Ability to keep complex ideas and features simple.
5. Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
6. Experience with Git and working with different branches.
7. Testing 3rd-party integrations (payment and marketing providers).
8. English at the upper intermediate level or higher.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Experience with WordPress.
2. Experience with performance and/or security testing.
3. Knowledge and practical experience with MySQL scripting and database structure.
4. ISTQB certificate.
5. Experience in Test Automation.
6. Previous remote work experience.
