Remote Jobs: Senior Software Engineer at Airbase

Airbase is offering a full-time remote job opportunity as a Senior Software Engineer to join the team. 

1. Deliver features in an end-to-end manner: technical design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance.
2. Provide technical leadership and own specific areas of the Airbase platform.
3. Work closely with Product Managers to translate product requirements to engineering specifications.
4. Lead code review efforts and quality efforts in your area of ownership.
5. Participate in product discussions, taking ownership and initiative.
6. Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Mentor and guide junior engineers.

1. At least 8 years experience developing web applications and backend services in a professional setting.
2. You should have played a lead role in building, shipping and maintaining a non-trivial production service.
3. Strong experience with Python / Django or the Java ecosystem.
4. Must have an excellent understanding of how the web works.
5. Familiar with modern engineering practices: code reviews, continuous-deployment, automated testing.
6. Must be willing to constantly learn new things.
7. Passionate about joining a small team and building a company.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. A history of working on side/hobby projects and contributing to open source projects is a plus.
2. You're familiar with frontend technologies (Javascript / React).
3. You've worked at a startup before.
