Opportunity description

The hotel is seeking a passionate and experienced Revenue Manager ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will drive revenue growth across the iconic hotel, optimize pricing strategies and channel performance, build best practices, and work with sector-leading technology. This is a high-impact role with growth opportunities for an ambitious applicant.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Develop and implement revenue strategies for the hotel.

  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends to adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly Revenue Management meetings, providing insights based on reporting data.

  • Develop topline revenue forecasts and actively seek opportunities to drive incremental profit across all revenue centers.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and optimize pricing and inventory.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members in revenue management practices.

  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and front office teams to achieve overarching revenue goals.

  • Ensure reservations are well managed and coordinate effectively with the reservations team.

  • Drive market share within the competitive set and ensure all systems are utilized to optimize RevPAR.

  • Leverage knowledge of the distribution landscape, including online travel agencies, to optimize hotel profits.

  • Maintain data quality and system hygiene of Revenue Management applications and platforms.

Eligibility criteria

  • 1 to 3 years of proven experience in revenue management roles.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while thriving in collaborative team environments.

  • Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to make strategic decisions that enhance revenue growth.

  • Proficiency in core revenue management principles.

  • Highly desirable: Experience with the IDeaS Revenue Management Platform.

  • Strong understanding of the distribution landscape, online travel agencies, and emerging market trends.

  • A collaborative, forward-thinking mindset with a passion for elevating revenue management practices.

  • Eligibility to live and work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (the company assists successful applicants with the visa process).

  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
