Opportunity description

Deloitte Innovation Hub (DIH) in Cairo is offering an exciting opportunity for an SAP Tax & Revenue Management (TRM) and Public Sector Collections and Disbursements (PSCD) Consultant. The Hub aims to be the leading business transformation partner across EMEA, delivering technical solutions for clients' most complex business problems. In this role, you will work collaboratively with project teams to deliver impactful solutions from initial shaping through to completion. You will leverage your expertise to enhance clients' sales and distribution processes while benefiting from a supportive, flexible hybrid work environment through "Deloitte Works."

Duties & responsibilities

  • Participate in workshops to capture requirements for registration, returns, payments, and refunds processes, and document functional requirements.

  • Assist in performing gap analysis and proposing workable system solutions within SAP TRM.

  • Configure TRM components related to registration workflows, form bundles, obligation rules, and return processes.

  • Support PSCD and TRM configuration, including payment clearing, dunning, and account determination.

  • Assist the TRM Lead with functional design tasks, integration requirements, and preparation of functional specifications.

  • Develop and execute unit, system, integration, and user acceptance test cases.

  • Assist in data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration for taxpayer master data.

  • Provide post-go-live support for TRM processes, analyze issues, and implement configuration fixes.

Eligibility criteria

  • 3+ minimum years of experience with end-to-end SAP implementation in the same field.

  • Good understanding of the BRF+ rules engine and SAP TRM/PSCD configurations.

  • Strong technical skills and demonstrated ability to configure business rules and validation scenarios.

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional, project-driven setting.

  • Preferred industry experience within the Public Sector.

  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills in English (fluency is a must).

  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30% to 50% of the time, outside of Egypt.

  • Certifications such as SAP S/4HANA for Financial or Management Accounting Associates are a plus.
