Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic is offering a job opportunity in Dammam, KSA. The Instructor is responsible for teaching all aspects of the Technical Training programs assigned to him (Classroom and Workshop), materials development and managing his program The Instructor is also the assessor for his programs.
Duties & responsibilities
- Lead the classroom development and on-going maintenance of all training programs, course materials (theoretical and practical), procedures and assessments to satisfy the client and Awarding Body requirements
- Assist the senior instructor in selecting and recruiting a suitable team of technicians.
- Ensure that the equipment in the workshops and laboratories are suitable and adequate in number to complement the training and assessment.
- Assist in identifying and sourcing suitable redundant equipment from Operating Companies for training purposes.
- Assist in developing written and performance tests for assessing specialized training programs.
- Present power point presentation to company staff in nonteaching days.

Eligibility criteria
- Excellent communication skills including public-speaking, training 10-20 people in a session, technical writing and evaluation.
- Excellent computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn various systems including OneNote and Adobe products.
- More than 10 years of experience in an industrial setting such as mining, oil and gas, power generation, aerospace, construction, railroad, shipbuilding, etc.
- More than 10 years of experience conducting or overseeing crane, rigging, and lifting activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or bachelor’s degree in an industrial, technical, or related field.
- More than 5 years of training or teaching experience.
- NCCCO, OPITO IADC or LEEA certifications for Crane & Rigging Programs.
- NCCCO, OPITO, IADC or LEEA Examiner (Or Instructor /Assessor) Accreditations for Crane & Rigging Programs.
