EY is seeking an experienced Senior External Auditor to join their Assurance team in Cairo. The successful candidate will provide peace of mind to clients by using their skills and experience to give companies, investors, and regulators confidence in financial statements and business-critical information. This role involves leading fieldwork, managing performance, and coordinating audit engagements.
Duties & responsibilities
Lead fieldwork and manage performance on various audit engagements.
Coordinate the daily execution of the engagement and ensure smooth communication with the client.
Coach and mentor junior team members, effectively resolving any engagement-related issues.
Keep the engagement team and partners updated on progress and potential issues.
Stay informed about industry trends and their impact on clients.
Eligibility criteria
A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related business field.
3 to 5 years of proven work experience specifically in external audit.
Strong leadership, coaching, and project management capabilities.
The ability to navigate complex financial information and apply analytical skills.
Absolute fluency in both Arabic and English (reading, writing, and speaking).
