The company is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join their Engineering Platforms department in Amman. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the reliability, resiliency, and observability of the company's cloud platforms. This role is designed for individuals who excel in dynamic and innovative environments and are eager to drive operational maturity across the organization.
Duties & responsibilities
The engineer champions and applies the Resiliency pillar of the Well-Architected Framework across all designs.
The role involves designing and executing Chaos Engineering experiments to validate system fault tolerance.
The candidate oversees cloud migration initiatives to ensure smooth and reliable service transitions.
They partner with engineering and security teams to align observability at both service and organizational levels.
The position requires participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to contribute to incident response and post-incident reviews.
The engineer mentors other team members on reliability engineering and operational best practices
Eligibility criteria
BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a related discipline. / درجة البكالوريوس أو الماجستير في علوم الحاسوب أو تخصص ذي صلة.
3+ years of cloud experience with Azure. / خبرة تزيد عن 3 سنوات في العمل على سحابة Azure.
Deep experience with Kubernetes and its surrounding ecosystem. / خبرة عميقة في Kubernetes والأنظمة المرتبطة به.
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). / معرفة متقدمة بأنابيب CI/CD والبنية التحتية ككود (Terraform).
Strong troubleshooting skills and command of SRE principles. / مهارات قوية في حل المشكلات وإتقان مبادئ هندسة موثوقية الموقع (SRE).
