Opportunity description

The agency (Leo Burnett) is seeking a dynamic Manager of Strategy & Insights to join their team in Jeddah. The successful candidate will manage strategy and insights for key assigned clients, consistently delivering inspiring and untapped insights to drive breakthrough thinking. This role focuses heavily on improving both the strategy and creative product, identifying key components of successful brand stories, and participating in regional and global effectiveness awards submissions.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide proactive briefs for clients based on qualified opportunities.

  • Drive the team to scour culture for new uses of technology, data, and design to weave innovative thinking into strategic work.

  • Lead and create focused, insightful, and inspiring connections plans accompanied by creative briefs.

  • Manage and build primary and secondary research for both clients and the agency.

  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data from available sources to provide strategic implications and creative inspiration.

  • Participate in agency new business pitches, creating an impact through detailed strategic thinking.

  • Plan client workshops, actively participate, and construct category and competitive landscape assessments.

  • Monitor social, cultural, and technological trends, assessing their impact on attitudes and behaviors.

  • Safeguard client relationships, maintain contact proactively, and share knowledge to build strong rapport.

Eligibility criteria

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, research, data, or business.

  • 5 to 6 years of proven experience in a similar strategic role within an agency environment.

  • Absolute fluency in both Arabic and English.

  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to build clear, distinct narratives.

  • Strategic proactivity and a proven track record of maintaining authentic trust with clients and agency teams.

  • Prior experience working on accounts in the airlines, tourism, and telecommunications sectors is considered a significant plus.
