Opportunity description

Amazon is offering a job opportunity as a Program Manager, Temporary role, Amazon Freight in DE, BY, Munich. As the program manager, you will be responsible for managing Amazon Freight's launches in Rest of Europe and expanding the service to internal Amazon customers. This role would manage the end to end launch process involving multiple stakeholders. Successful candidates would be comfortable with a significant degree of complex program management and commercial decision-making. This role is crucial to the offering of the overall business.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Working with the multiple stakeholders including tax, legal, product, commercial, tech etc. to execute new launches.
  • Working with operational and shipper service teams, with hands-on management to ensure high shipper satisfaction, optimization and good partner relations.
  • Support Amazon Freight's initiative to expand into new sales channels by increasing the total addressable market.
  • Create detailed business requirements and product designs for new projects, including writing requirement documents, working closely with AF tech team.


Eligibility criteria

  • Experience owning and driving end-to-end complex projects across multiple teams.
  • Great analytical skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexible to cope with changing priorities within an agile development environment.
  • Understand industry best practice and can reference accordingly.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in program or project management
  • MBA or a Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Preferably e-commerce/direct B2B experience
