TRT Jobs in Turkey: Platform Operations Specialist

TRT Network is offering a job opportunity in Istanbul / Turkey as a Platform Operations Specialist. TRT International is looking for a Platform Operations Specialist with 4+ years of experience to be part of our highly motivated platform localization team in Istanbul.

The Platform Operations Specialist is responsible for managing digital assets, providing quality control and uploading content to our platforms in the correct formats. 

The successful candidate needs to be proficient in English and either Arabic, Urdu or Spanish.

1. Work across departments to secure digital assets (video, audio, images and text),
2. Ensure assets are in the correct formats,
3. Upload content to our CMS and ensure assets are available across all platforms,
4. Provide quality control checks on content before it is published,
5. Assist in developing guidelines and best practices of effective flow of media assets,
6. Edit and transcode files to ensure they are compatible within the defined style guides.

1. Bachelor’s degree in related field or 4+ years of relevant work experience,
2. Proficiency in working with content management systems and media files,
3. Experience working in digital media space (preferably relevant industry),
4. Proficiency using visual editing software,
5. Excellent command of summarizing episodes and show titles with engaging language,
6. Comprehensive awareness and interest in streaming platforms and entertainment industry,
7. Strong team player and ability to develop projects as well as creative solutions to provide timely outputs to keep work on schedule,
8. Strong ability to prioritize projects based on short and long-term needs,
9. Comfortable to develop creative and fast paced asset production,
10. Be a self-starter who comes up with new approaches,
11. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills. 
12. Results oriented, self-motivated.
