The UNICEF Internship within the Office of the Executive Director (OED) at its New York Headquarters offers a unique opportunity for hands-on professional experience directly supporting the United Nations’ strategic leadership. This 3-month internship enables participants to engage with global leadership and decision-making processes within UNICEF.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting research and preparing background briefs.
- Supporting executive coordination and global mission documentation.
- Managing knowledge systems and internal information flow.
- Summarizing outcomes of high-level meetings and engagements.
- Assisting in drafting reports, notes, and briefing documents.

Duties & responsibilities
- Living allowance (stipend) to support basic expenses (varies depending on the case)

Eligibility criteria
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an undergraduate, graduate, or PhD program.
- Background in fields such as International Relations, Law, Political Science, Communications, or Management.
- Strong writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and with attention to detail.
- Fluency in English.
- Previous experience in project support, research, or knowledge management is advantageous.
