Vacancy at ABB in UAE: E-mobility Service Engineer

ABB is offering a job opportunity as an E-mobility Service Engineer in Dubai, will be the part of Electrification Business Area for EL e-Mobility Division based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be responsible to execute service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Deliver quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

1. Perform service tasks like installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identify technical problems and make analysis through remote or on-site activity in different service categories (installation and commissioning, routine maintenance, extensions, replacements etc.).
2. Contribute to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation.
3. Maintain a good relationship with customers and partners and identify new sales opportunities and communicate them internally.
4. Prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities and prepare all documents and reports to be signed by the customer representative.
5. Report work done in a timely manner and follows up when needed.
6. Troubleshoot simple equipment failure and make recommendations to avoid repeating the problem in the future and provide recommendations to management to improve operations and customer service.
7. Apply safety rules and safe practices as well as environmental responsibilities.
8. Report unsafe practices and incidents.

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years experience in E Mobility or EV Charging.
• Site support before and after product deliveries.
• Handling customer complains professionally and understanding the full electrical scope to better support customers.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English language is a must.
