Vacancy at Baker Hughes in KSA: Assistant Driller Field Specialist

Baker Hughes is offering a job opportunity in Saudi Arabia as a Assistant Driller Field Specialist. As a CTD Field Specialist, you will play a vital role onsite with our customers. You'll lead activities, people and HSE compliance and work on a variety of complex problems and issues. You'll be the onsite expert, continually developing knowledge and skills to deliver innovative solutions for customers.

This role is working with our customer on-site in locations in Udailyah (UDH). When onsite, you will have the flexibility to work in line with customer working patterns. This project started in 2008 and have a contract up to 2028 with opportunity to expand

1. Ability to identify and respond to changing situations and events within the rig site.
2. Solid understanding of all equipment and operational policies and procedures.
3. Reports immediately to the Driller and Rig Manager any incident or accident.
4. Following and recording Aramco and internal HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe and compliant environment
5. Checking equipment on site required to perform planned activities and implement contingency plans

1. Have working knowledge of well control best practices and procedures
2. Have good drilling and general product knowledge to be able to maximize equipment performance
3. Actively participates in the promotion of all aspects of QHSE and ensure safe working practices and conditions.
4. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with on-site and remote key individuals
5. Making recommendations to improve the program and operation through improved procedures etc.
6. Display an ability to analyze problems from data and identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
