Deloitte is offering a job opportunity in Sydney, NSW, AU as a Global, Procurement Manager, Technology.
Duties & responsibilities
- Support Deloitte’s Technology stakeholders both locally and across the globe and provide advice in current industry thinking, potential procurement strategies and engage accordingly
- Conduct market research/analysis to formulate sourcing strategy and undertake supplier due diligence and aid supplier negotiations
- Support the Technology team(s) with requirements gathering and creating RFP (Request for Proposal) documentation
- Support the end-to-end RFP process for professional services projects
- Work with procurement tools and systems including e-sourcing (Ariba)
- Assist with supplier risk assessment processes
- Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution

About the team:
Global CoRe provides seven fundamental services to Deloitte around the world: knowledge services, creative services, contact center, data management assessment services, data protection, procurement, and real estate. We develop new and innovative ways to improve how these services are delivered across the organization, leveraging our global scope and strength to serve our organization within and across borders.
You are someone with:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, similar field or equivalent qualification.
- At least four years relevant professional experience
- Possess strong communication skills, business acumen and the relationship management capability in order to manage client expectations and challenging supplier interactions in complex acquisition scenarios.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to understand requirements quickly
- Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers and stakeholders
- Proactive, dynamic, and a self-starter
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a small local team and a larger global team
