EY offers a job opportunity for the position of valuations professional (Real Estate Sector) VME - Riyadh (KSA). It is looking for candidates who are highly motivated, analytical, logical thinkers with a passion for valuations and have a very strong attention to detail. Being a strong team player is critical with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of the clients' goals.
Duties & responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Spend your day-to-day working on commercial issues.
- Working with management on parts of the acquisition process or transformation plans and regularly undertaking valuations for strategic priorities.
- Presenting the various real estate corporate finance activities to new potential clients to develop new business opportunities and at the same time enabling you to create your own business network in the real estate sector.
- Conduct feasibility studies and assess land value/property value and advise clients in their investment decisions.
- Develop complex real estate financial models, enabling you to assess the market value of various asset classes and create business plans for various asset classes including residential, hospitality, retail and commercial real estate, among others.
- Help to monitor various real estate markets across MENA and asset classes such as offices, residential units, shopping centers, and healthcare facilities, among others.

Eligibility criteria
You must have:
- A bachelor's/Masters degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with at least 6-8 years of related real estate corporate finance work experience.
- Solution driven individual and “out-of-comfort” zone thinker with demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects.
- Autonomous with demonstrated experience in handling and developing clients’ relationships, proactive in reporting to Director/Partner.
- Financial modeling skills including experience building models from scratch ideally with Real Estate Experience.
- Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combination, impairment testing etc.
- Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Previous valuation experience in professional services/Big 4 Firm.
- Previous experience in coaching teams of junior and senior staff.
- Real Estate financial modelling experience.
- Achievement of a CFA or equivalent internationally recognized professional qualification such as RICS or CBV.
- Understanding of broader GCC market dynamics.
- Excellent Business Development skills.
- Arabic language skills (although not mandatory).
