Tashkeel invites artists of all levels, professionals and amateurs, to a workshop entitled; Learn to Draw with Silverpoint, which will run on February 27, 2023 with an international artist James Razko. Painting with metal "Silver Point" is known as painting using soft metal on a custom surface, it began to be practiced from the Renaissance, and witnessed a return in contemporary art recently, to embody conceptual, traditional, abstract and realistic art. So, this workshop is a unique chance to learn how to draw with Silverpoint through easy to understand demonstrations and drawing exercises.

About Trainer:
James Razko earned his Master of Fine Arts degree at the New York Academy of Art in 2015. During his time at the Academy, he received the Academy Scholarship, the New Jersey Heart of a Hero Scholarship, was awarded a summer residency in Moscow, Russia, and was one of six nominated for the Chubb Fellowship. His work is published in the acclaimed book, The Figure. In 2018, Razko received a grant from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation.

Eligibility criteria
You should follow the following terms:
- All levels are welcome.
- This workshop is open to 15 participants.
- All Participants are expected to dress in alignment to keep with the culture of the United Arab Emirates.
- Participants are expected not to attend the Event in informal outfits, or accessories.
- While the Participant is in the Event, cell/mobile phones must have ringers turned off.
- The Participation Fee is AED 235.00 (+VAT).
