Queen Mary University of London is offering scholarships for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degrees in Malta for 2018-2019 for students worldwide. Scholarships may be awarded on a conditional and a competitive basis, subject to the student meeting the terms of the academic offer when exam results are announced. Once a student has been awarded the scholarship and started the course, it will be retained by the student until the end of their program assuming they meet the necessary criteria to progress through the course each year, which means they fulfill the examination and professional requirements.
Eligibility criteria includes:
[1] Applicants must have the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) tariff points or international equivalent of 50%
[2] Applicants must have a UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT) score of 50% (a minimum score of 2331)
[3] Applicants must have AAB or equivalent; 2:1 or equivalent for graduates
[4] IELTS 7.0
[5] Students can apply for the scholarship at any point, even if they have already been interviewed and offered a place
[6] Unconditional scholarship awardees will be expected to accept the offer within 2 weeks by making a deposit payment
[7] Conditional scholarship awardees will be expected to accept an offer within 1 week of becoming unconditional by making a deposit payment
Benefits:
The total amount awarded will be €15,000 per year, and the scholarship does not include accommodation fees or any other living expenses.
