The 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team Honorary Scholarship provides financial assistance for undergraduate study to children and spouses of Army personnel serving or having served in the 173rd Airborne Brigade.
Financial Benefits and Coverage
- Win up to $2,000 in financial assistance.
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants must be U.S. citizens with a minimum GPA of 2.0.
- Open to children and spouses of enlisted soldiers who are current or former 173rd brigade members.
- Applicants must be younger than 24 years of age.
Applicants must be children of U.S. military personnel (active duty, reserve, or National Guard) with a good standing, or spouses of U.S. military personnel.
Applicants must be high school seniors, high school graduates, or enrolled as college students at an accredited post-secondary or vocational/technical institution.
Available Fields of Study
Eligible for all specialties at accredited colleges and universities.
Application Requirements
- Proof of military service of the parent or spouse – good conduct statement for active duty or DD214 form for veterans.
- Official academic transcript.
- Proof of applicant’s service, if the applicant has military service.
- Essay – a maximum of 325 words on topics specified by the university.
