Getty Images invites photographers from all around the world to participate with their emerging creative&nbsp;photographic talent in the&nbsp;Getty Images Creative Bursary for 2018. The mission of the grant is to move the&nbsp;world with images through advertising, photography, trends, art-direction and nurturing talents. The grant provides commercial talents with the financial freedom to explore their own projects of personal and creative significance which would not get off the ground without funding.Participation rules:[1] The grant is open to individuals who are of a country or jurisdiction in which the competition fully satisfies all legal requirements for a contest of this nature[2] Participants must be under the age of 30 or have been pursuing photography as a professional career for less than 3 years[3] Participants can apply as individuals or teams, and employees of Getty Images are not eligible[4] Emerging photographers are encouraged to participate. An emerging photographer is one who is new to photography and has been pursuing it as a career for less than 3 years, has a fresh mind, is not influenced by the current photographic content production and wants to become a creative photographer[5] Only digital submissions will be accepted. Prints,&nbsp;books, slides, transparencies or other such materials will not be reviewed by&nbsp;the judges[6] All participants are required to submit a proposal along with the project, and all proposals must be in EnglishPrizes:[1] First place: $5,000[2] Second place: $3,000[3] Third place: $2,000Once the winning project is produced, it will be promoted by Getty images and licensed to customers with all resulting royalties due to the participant.
