Raed Cartoon invites all artists from all over the world to 54th World Gallery of Cartoons - Skopje 2022. Through this event you will have that chance to participate in a cartoons competition. You can submit cartoons, satirical drawing, comic/strip as well as you can choose the theme, technique, format you want.

- Grand Prix for Lifetime Achievement: 1500 $ & Sculpture.
- First Award: $1000 & Plaque.
- Second Award: $500 & Plaque.
- 5 Third Award: Plaque.
- 5 Special Award: Plaque.
- CICO Award: Plaque for a Macedonian Cartoonist.

Eligibility criteria
You must follow the following terms:
- Only original, hand-created works are eligible.
- If the author works exclusively in digital technique, printed digital works numbered and signed in pencil on the front will be accepted.
- Only original works from the newer production, which have not previously been published or awarded, will be considered.
- Works that are deemed by the jury to be identical or closely similar to the known works by another cartoonist will not be judged.
- By completing the application, you gives to the organizer a non-exclusive right to use, exhibit, study and publish your works for the needs of the event.
- To participate without a participation fee (the submitted works remain in the OSTEN Collection).
- To participate WITH a participation fee of 10 $ (non-selected works to be returned to the author).
Timeline:
- 30 April 2022: Deadline for works submission.
- 31 June 2022: Announcement of the short-listed cartoonists.
- 30 July 2022: Announcement of the awarded cartoonists.
- September 2022: Opening of the exhibition and awards presentation.
About Raed Cartoon:
Raed Cartoon is a website interested in the field of cartooning in addition to the artist's news and festivals all over the world, founded by the Syrian artist Raed Khalil. Raed Khalil is a Syrian cartoonist born in Syria on March 1, 1973 who started working in publications in 1988. As well, founded the website “Syria Cartoon” and founded the International Cartoon Competition in Syria in 2005.
