A Grant for Jordanian Projects from the Embassy of the Netherlands

The Netherlands Embassy is currently offering the grant Human Rights Fund and Shiraka Program for Jordanian Projects aiming to improve human rights and good governance.

The projects should be based on one of the following topics for the Human Right Funds:

[1] Freedom of expression and Internet freedom

[2] Women’s rights; improved gender sensitive policies

[3] Death penalty

[4] Climate change mitigation & adaptation with focus on gender mainstreaming

The applicants for this grant must be from non-governmental, semi-governmental, or non-profit organizations working on non-charitable and non-commercial activities.

The projects for the Shiraka Program should be based on: Economic growth; enabling environment for economic growth and/or generating employment opportunities.

The applicants for this grant must be local non-profit organizations registered in Jordan working on non-charitable and non-commercial activities.
