Opportunity description
Youth in the Arab region and Africa share a lot of history, as well as present circumstances, this makes the cooperation between them essential for the development of their countries. Youth in both regions have grown to prove that they are capable of developing a promising vision of integration between both regions.
In this context, the Arab and African Youth Platform is inviting youth in both regions to share and exchange experiences. Participants will have the chance to discuss various topics that are of concern to both Arab and African youth, with the aim of fostering the Arab and African cooperation. The Arab and African Youth Platform will hold various sessions, workshops, and roundtable, which will bridge the gap between our young promising leaders and top policy and decision makers.
World Youth Forum Tracks:
The World Youth Forum opens discussion into three tracks: Peace, Development and Creativity, under which different themes and topics of interest to international youth are discussed, creating a platform to express views, present ideas and share experiences throughout its sessions.
Selection criteria:
- Age 18 – 40 years old
- Personal, Professional and Educational experience related to the forum discussed topics
- If you wish to apply to be a speaker, a presenter, or even a workshop participant... etc. in various platforms. You will need to:
- Select the topic of interest
- Upload your updated CV
- Provide an abstract paper on the topic you wish to participate in
What is the selection criteria as a MAAS participant?
A research paper about “Prospects of cooperation and integration between Arab African states” in English or Arabic from the perspective of the Nation you do present with the following specific criteria:
- Kindly attach a recent CV.
- Kindly note that participating in the MAAS Model is restricted to the MENA Region (Middle East and Africa).
- All travelers to Egypt must be able to provide evidence of authorized permission to travel whilst in-country. To Obtain a Visa, please head to the nearest Egyptian Consulate or Embassy with the following documents:
- E-Invitation
- Passport copy (Valid for at least 6-8 months)
- 2 personal photos
- Any further documents might be required
What will WYF cover?
- Round from your nearest hub to Egypt, are FULLY FUNDED by WYF, including the domestic flights within Egypt.
- Accommodation during WYF (1st – 8th November).
- Hotel transportation is provided from and to airport.
