Opportunity description
The Joseph A. Fiore Art Center at Rolling Acres Farm in Maine, United States, aims to continue and evolve the dialogue between human and environment through exhibitions and public educational events and by hosting residencies for artists on a working farm. The art center is offering 8 residency opportunities for visual artists, performing artists and writers of four to six weeks long.
The residents will have three shared dinners a month which will be attended by the residency directors and one or more guests. Beyond these shared dinners, residents will be responsible for all their own meals. Residents will receive a $1000 stipend and local food coupons for the value of $300. Resigents are expected to participate in an open studio day at the end of their residency.
