Opportunity description
The Humber College in Toronto, Canada, invites applications from high school students interested in pursuing bachelor’s degree in one of its programs. Applicants must have demonstrated outstanding academic performance in high school and are not transfer-students, meaning they have not attended college or university.
Scholarships are available for those who have got a GPA of at least 75% in high school. Five scholarships are available depending on academic achievements:
[1] renewable $4,000 for those with GPA of 95% or higher
[2] renewable $3,500 for those with GPA of 90-94.9%
[3] renewable $3,000 for those with GPA of 85-89.9%
[4] renewable $2,000 for those with GPA of 80-84.9%
[5] non-renewable $1,000 for those with GPA of 75-79.9%
The scholarships are divided throughout three three semester intakes each year (Winter, Summer, Fall). The upcoming fall semester will start on September, 2018 and the winter semester will start on January, 2019. Applications will be considered based on academics, community involvement, referee/reference letters and statement of interest.
