Black and White Child Photo Competition with a Prize of €1,000 for 2018

The Black and White Child Photo Competition invites professional and amateur photographers from any country worldwide using traditional or digital methods to participate for the 2018 competition. The competition has 4 categories:

[1] Portrait

[2] Fine Art

[3] Lifestyle

[4] Documentary and Street

Competition rules:

[1] Participants must be at least 18 years of age, and employees, agents and their immediate family members of the competition are not eligible to participate

[2] Participants may enter 1, 3 or 5 image files

[3] Each file must be in a range 150-450 KB, 72 dpi, strictly monochrome, 1024 PX longest side at quality 10. For each file, participants can choose one of the 4 previously mentioned categories

[4] Participants may enter the competition for an unlimited number of times

 Prize:

[1] Grand winner:

• Title of “Black and White Child Photographer of the Year”
• €1,000 cash
• First place E-Badge to accompany award winning artwork to use on marketing and advertising materials
• Interview and editorial feature on the competition’s blog

 [2] Category winners:

• First place:
  €100 cash and a package of 5 files submission (valued at €30) to use in the 2nd half of the competition
  First place E-Badge to accompany the award winning artwork to use on marketing and advertising materials
• Interview and editorial feature on the competition’s blog

• Second place:
  €50 cash and a package of 3 files submission (valued at €20) to use in the 2nd half of the competition
  Second place E-Badge to accompany the award winning artwork to use on marketing and advertising materials

• Third place:
  €30 cash and a single file submission (valued at €10) to use in the 2nd half of the competition
  Third place E-Badge to accompany the award winning artwork to use on marketing and advertising materials

All the winners will also receive a showcase in the online gallery of the competition, an opportunity to be published in the yearly E-book “Book of Winners”, and a promotion on the competition’s social media websites (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram).
