Opportunity description
Bristol Short Story Prize – an annual international writing competition – invites writers above 16 from all over the world to participate in the competition that aims to publish exceptional short stories and promote them as much as possible. Writers can enter as many stories as they like, and there is an entry fee of £8 for each story submitted.
Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st place will get £1,000, 2nd place will get £700, and 3rd place will get £400. Each of the 17 remaining shortlisted writers will receive £100. All winners will also receive 2 free copies of Bristol Short Story Prize Anthology Volume 11 and will be able to purchase other copies at a discount of 50%.
