CGTrader Digital Art Competition

CGTrader invites applications for the CGTrader Digital Art Competition. Applicants may submit up to 3  of their artworks into one of the following 6 competition categories:
[1] Character Illustration
[2] Character Concept Design
[3] Environment Illustration
[4] Environment Concept Design
[5] Object Design
[6] Object Concept Design

Entry rules:

[1] Artwork/s should be high-resolution image/s - 1280 pixels or more on the long edge
[2] File size should not exceed 10MBs. Submit only image formats: png, jpg, jpeg
[3] Artworks must not be watermarked by any external source, cannot have any company logos, trademarks or otherwise display copyrighted content which does not belong to the Participant. Personal logos and signatures are allowed.
[4] Participants must add a tag “Participant of the CGTrader Digital Art Competition” on your portfolio website.

The submissions will be evaluated on the originality, quality and overall impression. The overall impression takes into consideration composition, modeling, texturing, technical difficulty, detail as well as overall appearance and impact of the work. Each category will have one Winner and 2 runner-ups selected. A special Public Award will be given to two artworks that generate the most engagement.

Winners of Environment Concept Art Category:
[1] first prize of a total value of $4,200
[2] second prize of a total value of $2,770
[3] third prize of a total value of $2,770

Winners of Object Design Illustration Category:
[1] first prize of a total value of $4,140
[2] second prize of a total value of $2,770
[3] third prize of a total value of $2,770

Winners of Object Design Concept Art Category:

Winners of the Public Prize:
[1] First prize valued at $2,000
