Opportunity description

The Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR) invites early career researchers from across the natural, biomedical, and social sciences and the humanities to join one of their interdisciplinary research programs that address some of the most complex questions facing the world today. Over the program’s two years, scholars will have the opportunity of interacting within a network of internationally renowned researchers and the will enhance their leadership and communication skills. All applicants must hold a Ph.D. (or equivalent terminal degree) and be within the first 5 years of a full-time academic appointment.

Recipients will get $100,000 in unrestricted research support and they will be invited and funded to attend CIFAR research program meetings in Canada which take place 2-3 times a year.
