ChangemakerXChange Summit and Exchange for Social Innovators 2018

Are you the leader or founder of a social venture that focuses on: spreading values of diversity, cross-cultural understanding, intercultural education, social cohesion, peace-building, migration and integration or dialogue between groups?

ChangemakerXchange, a global innovation platform for young social innovators, brings together some of the world’s top social innovators, who have dedicated their lives to solving a social problem and have the skills and mindset to collaborate for collective impact. ChangemakerXchanges is run in beautiful and unique retreat style locations away from the hustle and bustle of the city in different places around the world. ChangemakerXchange is making an impact in 65 countries involving 350 change makers and 90 collaborators and have reached 100,000 people.

Social innovators from around the world are invited to join the ChangemakerXChange summit 2018 aimed at connecting, learning and collaborating. Participants will be spending five days alongside inspiring peers and mentors, all innovating in this exciting and pressing field. In 2018, ChangemakerXchange opens applications for exchange program and summit in:
[1] South Africa between 18-22 June, 2018: open to Changemakers from Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
[2] Cultural Diversity and Dialogue in the Netherlands between 5-10 July, 2018: Open to Changemakers from Europe, Middle East, South Caucasus, Turkey, North Africa.
[3] Rwanda between 29 June and 3 July, 2018: Open to Changemakers from Rwanda , Burundi , DRC, Central African Republic and Congo Brazzaville.
[4] Changemakers Impacting Rural Communities program in France between 21-26 August, 2018: Open to Changemakers from Europe.

Selection criteria:
[1] applicants must be aged between 18 and 30. Please note a limited number of three places is available for 29- and 30-year-old applicants.

[2] applicants should lead, co-lead, have founded or co-founded their own social venture which is up and running and addresses the issues of diversity / dialogue / polarisation.
[3] applicants must have a good level of English that enables them to understand, present, and collaborate throughout the summit.

[4] applicants should have the skills and know-how to be part of a special community of collaborative young social entrepreneurs and be willing to play an active role within this community.

Logistics and costs:
ChangemakerXchange covers your travel costs to/from Amsterdam as well as most of the conference costs for all five nights and five days, including hotel accommodation, food, entrance fees, etc. However a participation fee of 100 EURO is requested to cover part of the costs. ChangemakerXchange offers A limited number of stipends/scholarships are available upon request.
