Queen Mary University in London invites students from all around the world to apply for 2 Chevening full scholarships in any full-time one-year Master’s degree in the School of Law for 2019. Queen Mary works closely with the Chevening – the UK government’s international scheme aimed at developing global leaders – to provide a large number of full scholarships for study on one-year Masters courses. Every year, the university hosts a large cohort of 1,500 scholars who come to study all over the UK.
Applicants must:
[1] Rank Queen Mary as their first choice university
[2] Have 2 years’ work experience, and employment undertaken as part of undergraduate or postgraduate degrees is not accepted
[3] Be citizens of a Chevening-eligible country
[4] Return to their country of citizenship for a minimum of 2 years after the award has ended
[5] Have an undergraduate degree that will enable students to gain entry onto a postgraduate program at a UK university. This is typically equivalent to an upper second-class 2:1 honors degree in the UK
[6] Have an overall score of 6.5 in Academic IELTS, an overall score of 58 in Pearson PTE Academic, an overall score of 79 in TOEFL iBT, an overall score of 176 in C1 Advanced or overall pass in Trinity ISE II (B2)
Scholarship value:
All Chevening awards cover full overseas tuition fees, as well as providing a stipend for living costs, air-fares, and a variety of other expenses. Students also benefit from a year-long program of events helping them experience the best of British culture and to make the most of their time in the UK.
