Opportunity description
The ISARCH Awards invites students of architecture from around the world to participate with their projects in the 2018 competition. The competition is conceived as an international platform for the promotion and recognition of university projects on an international scale. By promoting this platform, the awards aim to provide students with a gateway to the professional and corporate world and a platform for debate surrounding the architecture solutions where students contribute within the framework of their university studies. As part of their interest in promoting winning projects, ISARCH Awards is in contact with various specialized journals and websites in order to secure their publication.
Competition rules:
[1] The competition is open to all students of architecture and young architects who have graduated within the last 3 years prior to the date of sending in the necessary documents
[2] Proposals may be entered by individual students or groups of students
[3] Each participant may submit as many projects as he/she wishes, regardless of their nature, program and budget
[4] All proposals must be anonymous and the text which appears on it in English
Selection:
An expert panel of judges will provide 80% of the final score. The panel will determine the assessment criteria for the winning works, which will be included in the minutes listing the prizes awarded, and the decision shall be final. The general public may also assess the entries by voting on the ISARCH website and their opinions shall make up the remaining 20% of the score.
Prize:
The three winning projects will receive prizes worth a total of €7,000, and all selected works will be published on ISARCH’s various platforms and on its website.
What is ISARCH?
ISARCH is a platform which focuses on architecture students' works and it is also managed by a team of architecture students without profit. It aims to help the participants by financing with the registration fee amount the internships in international Architecture firms, with whom IS ARCH has an agreement.
