Amazon with AWS Innovate is offering a competition to design  a self-driving model, and join the world's first autonomous racing league & compete for prizes! Through this competition you will Learn how to build, train and evaluate an autonomous driving model using AWS DeepRacer and reinforcement learning at AWS Innovate. The AWS Innovate registered racers with the 3 fastest lap times in the October race of the Virtual Circuit will receive AWS Credits. 

Eligibility:

• This activity allows developers of all skill levels to get started with reinforcement learning by providing hands-on tutorials to quickly start training RL models and test them in a fun, autonomous car racing experience. 
• You can start training your model on the virtual track in minutes, wherever you are

How to compete

Rules:

1. Create and train your reinforcement learning model in the AWS DeepRacer 3D racing simulator.
2. Evaluate your model on a simulated race track, tune your reward function and hyperparameters, and train again to improve lap times
3. Submit your model to the virtual leaderboard to enter the AWS DeepRacer League.

Prizes:

The 3 winners will be announced by November 15th via email and on this website:

• The First winner: $1,250 AWS Credit
• The Second winner: $750 AWS Credit  
• The Third Winner: $500 AWS Credit
