Curtas Vila Do Conde Film Festival Competition

The Curtas Vila do Conde International Film Festival, announces the call for entries for new short films produced in 2017 or 2018. Curtas Vila do Conde Film Festival is one of the most prestigious film festivals in Portugal, and is taking place from July 14-22, 2018, in Portugal. Films must be within the duration limit of 60 minutes, and in film (35mm or 16mm) or digital (DCP or video files). There are 6 categories in which you can participate:

[1] International (fiction, documentary and animation)

[2] Experimental (films that defy narrative and technical conventions)

[3] Curtinhas (films for kids until 30 minutes)

[4] Music Videos (music videos for Portuguese bands or artists)

[5] Portuguese (Portuguese films of fiction, documentary and animation) 

[6] Take One (school films, until 30 minutes, by Portuguese film students, national or film schools abroad)
