The University of Antwerp, Belgium, is looking for an outstanding postgraduate student in the area of International Relations to fill a full-time vacancy in the Department of Political Science. Candidates must meet the following requirements:

The doctoral student will work on a FWO-funded project ‘Beyond Contractualism: A Comparative-Historical Analysis of the Sources of International Authority’ where they will prepare a doctoral thesis in the field of international relations, publish scientific articles related to the research project, and contribute to teaching and research for the Faculty of Social Sciences. Doctoral students filling this position are offered a doctoral scholarship for a period of four years, a gross monthly grant ranging from 2,324.20-2,469.08 euros and a dynamic and stimulating work environment. The start date of the scholarship will preferably be July 1, 2018 and no later than September 1, 2018.
