New Engineers gives the opportunity for students with Bachelor or Master degree in one of the following majors, to study and work at the same time:
[1] Automotive.
[2] Electronics.
[3] Embedded systems engineering.
[4] Industrial design.
[5] Informatics.
[6] Mechanical engineering.
[7] Mechatonics.
[8] Operations management.
[9] Process engineering.
[10] System engineering.
Students will gain:
Students will be offered a real job and be engaged in several projects. Thanks to this placement in real companies everything they do and learn will have an immediate impact on the world around them, right where it is needed the most.
New Engineers offers an intense educational experience, as well as a new way for students to look at themselves and at the company they work in. They will work full time in one of the New Engineers’ partner companies. Approximately every 4 to 5 weeks students will be out of company for a whole working week, joining the company and other new engineers for an intensive learning experience. As a new engineer you get paid to study and work. A newly graduated student receives a monthly salary out of which €1200 is for the student and the other part is to cover the study costs.
New Engineers offers only a limited number of places to the most dedicated students. As part of their admission students will be tested on their capability to solve complex problems (CEB test) and assessed on their ability to cooperate and persevere (OPQ test). Most importantly, however, they will have opportunity to advocate their admission through interviews with our staff and students.
Applicants must:
[1] Have a successfully finished bachelor degree in one of the mentioned majors.
[2] Apply for a permit for the Netherlands.
[3] Be fluent in English (IETLS: 6.5).
