L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science offers fellowships for young women in Al-Maghreb region in order to promote the participation of these women in science. This program determines and rewards young talented female researchers in the following fields (Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Physiology, Biotechnology, Ecology and
Chemistry applied to life). Like those of Sciences of the matter (such as physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, information sciences, earth and universe sciences).
The L'Oréal-UNESCO Maghreb Fellowships For Women in Science 2018 are set to be awarded to 5 young female scientists from 4 different countries of the Maghreb: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, and Libya.
Eligibility criteria:
[1] Applying for a PhD or a post-doctoral fellowship.
[2] Not working permanently in 2018.
[3] Working on your PhD or having obtained it and willing to pursue research in one of the fields cited in the previous paragraph.
[4] African, working in one of the 4 countries listed in the previous paragraph.
[5] Being aged at most 35 years at the closing date of the call for applications which is 31st July 2018.
[6] Academic excellence.
[7] Quality and originality of the research project.
[8] Capacity to promote science among young people.
