Opportunity description

The Food Sustainability Media Award is accepting entries for its 2018 round. The competition aims to recognize the work of professional journalists and emerging talent from all over the world for excellence in reporting and communicating issues related to food security, sustainability, agriculture and nutrition. The competition includes two categories: Written journalism and Multimedia. Works can be previously published or unpublished  and must raise awareness of today’s ‘food paradoxes’ (like Obesity and hunger, Waste and starvation, ..etc)

Winners for the published written and multimedia categories (2 in total) will receive a 10,000 euro cash prize/each. Winners for the unpublished written and multimedia categories will receive an all-expense paid trip to attend a Thomson Reuters Foundation journalism training course on sustainability.
