The Open Doors Academic Competition (Olympiad) is offering a tuition-free Master’s program at one of the leading universities in Russia to international students for the academic year 2021-2022. Subject areas include:
- Biology
- Computer Science
- Mathematics
- Business and Management
- Politics and International Relations
- Psychology
- Physics
- Philology and Linguistics
- Chemistry
- Economics
Benefits
Your tuition fee will be paid by the Russian Federation. You will only have to cover your travel and accommodation costs, insurance and personal expenses.
Eligibility criteria
- The competition is open to foreigners and stateless persons, including compatriots living abroad, having a degree or completing a degree program not lower than Bachelor level in the year of the Olympiad
- The university determines the level of proficiency in Russian while admitting of the winner or the prize-winner. The winners and the prize-winners who need to improve the level of proficiency in Russian are eligible to have a preparatory Russian language course in the chosen university, if necessary. Enrolment in the Master’s programs taught in Russian is only possible after a successful completion of the Russian language course
- Prepare your portfolio. All research papers, certificates, awards and honors that you have ever received are of value. Please include all achievements in the selected subject area in your portfolio to increase your chances of success
- After confirming your proficiency in English or Russian, you can study in that language. If you need to improve your Russian, you will be offered a Russian language preparatory course
About the Competition:
The Open Doors Academic Competition (Olympiad) is an international project that grants you an opportunity to enroll in a tuition-free Master's program at one of the leading universities in Russia. The project has been developed by Russian leading academic experts and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The Olympiad is organized by The Association of Global Universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
