Are you interested in peace and conflict relations? Do you want to be a part of a fellowship program at one of the peace centers around the world?
Rotary Peace Centers are now accepting applications from international professionals who want to pursue a professional development certificate program or a master’s degree program related to peace and conflict resolution to receive a fully-funded Peace Fellowship for 2019-2020. The centers are located in the United States, Japan, England, Australia, Sweden, and Thailand, and they award 50 fellowships for the master’s degrees and 50 fellowships for the certificate studies. Applicants must be proficient in English, have a knowledge of international understanding and peace demonstrated through professional and academic achievements, and excellent leadership skills. Applicants for the master’s degree must have a minimum of 3 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, in addition to a bachelor’s degree; while applicants for a program certificate must have a minimum of 5 years of related full-time work or volunteer experience, as well as a strong academic background.
The fellowship covers tuition fees, accommodation, round-trip transportation, and all field-study expenses. Fellows will also be able to find better jobs in national governments, NGOs, the military, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.
