Opportunity description

Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford sponsored by the Pershing Square Foundation is offering six two-year MBA scholarships. The student will study in the first year one of the available master’s programs of his choice, in the second year, he will study for an MBA.

Students will also be invited to a spring ‘trek’ to New York City hosted by the Pershing Square Foundation, where they can participate in meetings and workshopswith leading innovators and change-makers. They will have the opportunity to attend prestigious conferencesand events throughout the year, including the Ditchley Conferences and the Skoll World Forum.

Benefits

  • You will receive funding for both your Master's degree and MBA program course fees.
  • The scholarship also provides at least £15,285 towards living expenses for both years of study.


Eligibility criteria

  • Academic achievement demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.
  • Leadership potential demonstrated through experience and motivation.
  • Strong personal character, integrity, and commitment.
  • Intention to focus on addressing world-scale social challenges in your career, either in an existing organization or through the development of a new enterprise.
  • Ability to envision how to achieve scalable and sustainable solutions to these challenges.
  • Articulated vision on how the Oxford 1+1 MBA will allow you to fulfill your objectives.

Application Requirements:

  • University degree and transcripts/mark-sheets. If your original transcripts are not in English you must also supply an official translation.
  • GMAT:
  • The university does not require a minimum score, but GMAT scores of 650 or above are considered competitive. 
  • All sections of the GMAT must be taken in order to be considered valid.
  • Official online scores must be accessible by our admissions department for your application to be considered complete. For GMAC to release your official scores to Saïd Business School, please give your test center the following code: Q0G-4B-59
  • GMAT scores are not valid if they are older than five years on the application deadline date.
  • GRE:
  • The university will accept all scores. 
  • All sections of the GRE must be taken in order to be considered valid.
  • Official online scores must be accessible by our admissions department for your application to be considered complete. For ETS to release your official scores to Saïd Business School, please give your test center the following institution code: 0807
  • GRE scores are not valid if they are older than five years on the application deadline date.
  • Explain why you see this as particularly beneficial for you and how it fits with your career and personal development aims. (Maximum 250 words).
  • Re-applicants will need to submit an additional essay as below: What improvements have you made in your candidacy since you last applied to the Oxford MBA? (Maximum 250 words).
  • When reviewing your essays, the admissions committee will be looking for evidence of the following: good communication skills, leadership potential, analytical skills, fit with the Oxford MBA community, among other characteristics.
  • Contact information of two professional or academic references.
