Erasmus Mundus is offering the CLE Erasmus Mundus Master Course Scholarships for students all over the world. Erasmus Mundus programme aims to enhance quality in higher education through scholarships and academic cooperation between the EU and the rest of the world.
Eligibility and Requirements:-
Candidates must possess a good level of knowledge in the various fields that distinguish the Master's Degree: the literary, linguistic, historical, artistic and rhetorical field in relation to the European context.
In order to apply for the CLE Master's Course, candidates must possess:
A Bachelor-equivalent degree (180 credits).
A university degree demonstrating they have taken a course in the following subjects: Literature, Language (Expressions Techniques, Linguistic and Language Sciences, Philology), History, Art History.
For students who have obtained a degree from any other country except for Italy, the verification of the curricular requirements is based on the list of the exams as described in the transcript of records.
Knowledge and competency of the language of the University of the consortium where the student intends to stay during the first year of the Master's Degree (minimum level required B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Knowledge of Languages), certificates in one of the following ways:
Language certification.
Cycle of previous university studies carried out in the language required for access.
Cycle of primary and secondary studies entirely carried out in the language required for access.
Knowledge and skills of the English language (minimum level required B1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Knowledge of Languages) certified in one of the following ways:
Language certification.
Cycle of previous university studies carried out in the language required for access.
Cycle of primary and secondary studies entirely carried out in the language required for access.
Students who have already obtained an EMJMD scholarship or are former Erasmus Mundus Master/Doctoral Course scholarship holders are not eligible for an additional scholarship under the EMJMD action.
Students benefiting from an EMJMD scholarship cannot benefit from another EU grant while pursuing their EMJMD studies.
No more than 3 students selected for scholarship can have the same nationality.
A candidate can only apply to a maximum of 3 different EMJMD programs.
Benefits:-
EMJMD scholarships include the students' participation costs (including the tuition fees, full insurance coverage and any other mandatory costs related to the students' participation in the course), a contribution to student travel and installation cost and a subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the CLE Master’s program.
Contribution to participation costs (paid to the Consortium): € 6.000
Contribution to subsistence costs (paid to the Student): € 1.000 per month for the entire duration of the CLE study program (23 months).

Required documents for application:
Copy of a valid passport or national ID card (ID card is accepted for EU citizens ONLY).
Copy of the original diplomas indicating the final level obtained. All selected candidates must obtain their first cycle degree by July 31, 2021. In case the student has not yet obtained the degree at the time of the application, and he is in the last year of study, a document issued by his University of origin stating the estimated date to obtain the degree has to be produced instead of the diploma. If students do not graduate within the due specified dates, the application will be cancelled.
Transcript of records during the bachelor phase.
Certificate of the student’s level of proficiency in the required languages (e.g. diploma, university exams, language certificates).
Required documents for the financial supports:
Full curriculum vitae (CV Europass template).
Motivation letter (explaining the background of the candidate and the reasons for applying to the CLE Master’s programme).
Only for those attending the first call for application and asking for the Erasmus + Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) scholarship award: Certificate of residence or attestation issued by the workplace or study attesting the residence at the time of the application.
Two letters of recommendation written by academics/researchers who have participated in the candidate’s academic training. Letters by the coordinating professors of partner universities are not accepted. They must be written on a headed paper of the University concerned and/or signed by the referee. All letters of recommendation without a headed paper and not signed will not be considered and the application will be incomplete
Original University diploma indicating the final grade.
