The New Materials Institute (NMI) is inviting students have finished the master degree to apply for the PhD scholarships at the University of Nottingham in China. The PhD programmes at the UNNC are composed of 3 years research and submission are expected within 3 years for full-time students.
The scholarships are to support research projects outlined under the following themes:
[1] Polymer Composites Material
[2] New Energy & Environmental Materials
[3] Granular Materials and Geotechnology
Eligibility criteria:
[1] Applicants must have a first class honors undergraduate degree or 65% and above for a Masters’ degree from a British university, or the equivalent from other institutions.
[2] Applicants must meet the required English language proficiency for the relevant subject area. Please be advised that IELTS 6.5 ( minimum 6.0 in any element) or its equivalent is required for FOSE Faculty scholarship.
[3] Holding an honors degree at 2.1 and/or a masters at merit level or above in a relevant subject (or international equivalent).
