Opportunity description

The Munich Intellectual Property Law Center is inviting students from developing countries to apply for DAAD postgraduate courses. These courses are offered in the following fields: Economic Sciences/ Business Administration/ Political Economics, Development Cooperation, Engineering and Related Sciences, Mathematics, Regional and Urban Planning, Agricultural and Forest Sciences, Natural and Environmental Sciences, Medicine and Public Health, Social Sciences, Education and Law, and Media Studies.

Eligibility criteria:

[1] You hold at least a four-year Bachelor's degree (or a three-year Bachelor's degree plus a further degree), completed with above-average results.

[2] You received your latest degree no more than six years ago.

[3] You have at least two years of full-time professional experience gained in a public authority or a state or private company in a developing country (university staff and academics are generally not taken into account). To meet this requirement, it is sufficient if you have completed the two years by the time the program starts in October. In any case, the experience must have been gained after the completion of your first university degree.

[4] Your English test scores meet the MIPLC requirements.

[5] For study courses in German (scholarship includes a 6-month German language course): DSH 2 or TestDaF 4 at the beginning of the study course; a minimum German language level of A2 at the time of application. In addition, preparatory German language courses at B1 level are highly recommended.

[6] For courses in English: IELTS (Band 6) certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 80 internet based).
