The University of New South Wales (UNSW) is delighted to announce that its Scientia PhD Scholarship Scheme Program is now open for students around the world to apply. UNSW is now recruiting new PhD scholars of exceptional quality to work on research projects aligned with UNSW’s ten-year strategy. The UNSW is offering these prestigious scholarships with unique benefits, individualized support and guaranteed funding in order to aid students to reach their personal development goals. Candidates are matched with best researchers at School of Public Health & Community Medicine who have demonstrated excellence in supervision and will work in research areas aligned with UNSW’s strategic goals. The Scientia Scheme is a structured 4-year program.
To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate must: 
[1] Meet the UNSW admission requirements and residency requirements. [2] Not be enrolled in a PhD program either at UNSW or another institution at the time of application.
[3] Be accepted for admission to a PhD at UNSW supervised by an approved supervisory team.
[4] Be undertaking a PhD program commencing at the University in the year of the scholarship.
[5] Be located on a UNSW campus for a minimum of two years including the first year of the scholarship.
Successful applicants will receive scholarships that include the following:
[1] Stipend of $40,000 per annum for four years
[2] Tuition fees covered for the full 4 year period
[3] A support package of up to $10,000 per annum for the support of development activities, international collaboration, and other related expenses
[4] Work on high-quality research projects with the best supervisory teams in world class environments
[5] Coaching and mentoring will form a critical part of your highly personalized leadership development plan commence their candidature in either semester of 2019.
