Do you want to complete your undergraduate degree from top universities in the United States, like Harvard University, Stanford University, University of Chicago or University of Pennsylvania?
Orascom Construction offers Egyptian undergraduate students the opportunity to apply for a fully-paid Onsi Swairis Scholarship program at one of the top universities in the United States. The scholarship is a private merit-based one which was established in 2000 by the company itself as part of its commitment to promoting excellence and achievement. The purpose of the scholarship is to boost Egypt’s economic competitiveness. Personal interviews will be held at Orascom Construction in September, 2018, and the ceremony and departure of scholars will be between June to August, 2019.
Who can apply?
[1] Applicants must be Egyptian nationals
[2] Applicants must have gained a score of 2100 or above in SAT (700 in reading, 700 in math and 700 in writing, or 1450 overall with a score of 730 in evidence-based-reading and writing and 730 in math). To receive SAT score before the application deadline, applicants must sit for the test no later than May 2, 2018
[3] Applicants must have gained a total of 600 or above in 3 subjects in SAT II. To receive SAT II score before the application deadline, applicants must sit for the test no later than June 2, 2018
[4] Applicants must have got a score of 100 or above in IBT TOEFL. To receive the score before the application deadline, applicants must sit for the test no later than May 15, 2018
[5] Applicants must have an equivalent to GPA 3.5 in high school (Thanaweyya Amma) or 90%
[6] Applicants must study Economics, Engineering, Political Science, Finance or Management
[7] Applicants must be involved in extracurricular activities
What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship covers full tuition, travel fees, living allowance and books, computer, health insurance and other benefits.
