Meiji University in Japan is offering undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships in different disciplines for international students for the academic year 2018-2019. The scholarship program is financial aid that gives young creative students with financial difficulties a chance to study for an elevated degree, in addition to the program being a chance to strengthen the relationship between Japan and other countries. Applicants must be nationals and residents of a developing country, must have been accepted by the university after passing the entrance examinations, and must not be funded by any other scholarships. The available postgraduate programs are in the Graduate School of Science and Technology, the Graduate School of Advanced Mathematical Sciences, and the Graduate School of Global Governance.
The scholarship covers entrance examination fees, registration fees, a 50%-100% reduction of tuition fees, and roundtrip travel and local transportation fees. It also provides monthly stipend of 148,000 Japanese Yen for PhD students and 147,000 Japanese Yen for master’s students.
