Fully-Funded Volunteering Opportunity in France 2018-2019

The Association Noël Pandavoine in France – a non-profit organization that provides housing for young workers with economic and social difficulties – is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to be a member of the educative team from September 2018 to October 2019. The association offers residents who are aged between 16-25 years old accommodation and services to support them socially and professionally such as providing computer rooms, various trainings, educative workshops, social schools, employment and mobility guidance. The volunteer should be outgoing with an ability to take initiatives and an interest to lead sport or cultural activities. He/she should also have good communication skills in English and knowledge of French. Volunteering project topics include: youth (participation, youth work, youth policy), pedagogy and didactics, and equality. Responsibilities of the volunteer include:

[1] Providing various types of support to the residents

[2] Maintaining the Erasmus+ Volunteering Activities (EVS) mission which is raising interest to foreign culture inside the residency

[3] Taking part in organizing and implementing leisure and educative time; as well as different workshops such as bicycle repairing, cooking, music workshops, woodcraft, sports, and cultural outings

[4] Proposing some activities about the volunteer's own country (exhibition, cultural activities, games, etc.) or activities based on the residents' interests

The organization will provide accommodation for the volunteer in one of the apartments in which the residents live, in addition to providing money for his/her meals and local transportation.
