Fully-Funded Youthopia Activist Camp 2019

Youthopia invites activists from all over the world to come together and join the intercultural Youthopia Activist Camp 2019 for 10 days (July 21 to July 31, 2019) in Berlin, to work on realizing a utopian world of democracy, sustainability and universal equality. The goal is to provide youth with the right tools for social and political change, so that we can realize them in our communities. In international teams, guided by other activists and inspired by successful initiatives, you will develop 10 tangible, innovative projects that will get you closer to your utopia for a democratic, sustainable and socially just future.

You are eligible if:

1. You are 18-28 years old
2. You are fluent in English, to be an active part of an international youth movement
3. You are from any social background, no matter if you are working, in a formation, studying or just taking a gap year – as long as you have a utopia for a more sustainable, democratic or social just society
4. You have already initiated, been or want to be part of social, sustainable and democratic change
5. You want to learn about issues in other communities and their ideas for solutions
6. You want to work on concrete projects, not only talk about change
7. You want to participate in projects run by young activists peer-to-peer

Benefits:

1. Accommodation, food and transportation during the 10 days will be covered
2. If you have extraordinarily high travel or Visa expenses, you can apply for a partial/ full scholarship
