Center for Art and Media (ZKM) invites artists to apply for a one-month residency, with new project ideas for the mobile application: MyCity, MySounds. MyCity, MySounds is an application for iOS and Android smart devices, and its developed by (ZKM), an Institute for Music and Acoustics. The application is a web-platform of GPS-based sound walk. With it you can create your own sound walk for your city and share your walks with people all over the world. Selected participants will be able to work on their project ideas and sketches over a period of one month, and realize a new artistic work related to the app. The residency will take place in the second half of 2018, in the city of Karlsruhe, Germany. The residency program is part of the (INTERFACES) project, and is co-funded by the Creative Europe program of the European Union.
