Funded BA and MA Fellowships at ADA University in Azerbaijan 2019-2020

ADA Univresity is offering graduate and undergraduate fellowships for international students for the academic year 2019-2020. 

Benefits

The fellowship covers the tuition fee and rent of housing only. Fellowship recipients are expected to cover all other expenses, including books, student fees and utilities.

[1] Undergraduate Program

Overview

• The program duration is four years. All undergraduate programs include general education, major core courses, technical and free electives, and functional enablers.
• All courses are offered in English as the main language of international discourse.

BA programmes include

1. Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS).
2. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
3. Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs (BAPA).
4. Bachelor of Science in Economics (BSE).
5. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS).
6. Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCE).
7. Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT).
8. Bachelor of Laws (LLB); (this programe is taught in English and Azerbaijani, therefore this program requires fluent Azerbaijani language).

Overview

• ADA University is looking for candidates with a variety of skills and accomplishments that would fit the dynamic environment and challenging community of the University. The University also seeks leadership experience or potential.
• Interested candidates must hold at least a Bachelor degree; have a strong command of English and analytical skills.

MA programmes include

School of Public and International Affairs

• Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MADIA).
• Master of Public Administration (MPA).

School of Business

• MBA.

School of Education

• Master of Arts in Education Management (MAEM).

Fellowship Requirements

1. Applicants should first be admitted into ADA University.
2. Previous work experience in the public sector and/or commitment to serve in the public sector is valued most.
3. Incoming undergraduate fellows are eligible to receive a 100 percent tuition waiver for the first year of their studies.
4. Incoming graduate fellows are eligible to receive a 100 percent tuition waiver for the first semester of their studies.
5. To retain the fellowship, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Returning undergraduate and graduate fellows must maintain full load coursework and accumulate a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.80 or higher to receive a 100 percent tuition waiver for the next semester of study.
• Returning undergraduate and graduate fellows must maintain full load coursework and accumulate a Grade Point Average (GPA) between 3.50 and 3.79 to receive a 50 percent tuition waiver for the next semester of study.
• International fellows, whose GPA is 3.50 and above are eligible to receive a housing allowance. International fellows, whose GPA falls below 3.50 are required to cover their own housing.
